The School Day

The school day starts at 9am and finishes at 14.30pm.

At the beginning of the school day staff are on duty, at the school gates, to meet and greet the young people as they arrive.

Pupils will be signed in to school by staff when they are arrive.

At the end of the school day staff are on duty, at the school gates, to ensure everyone sets off safely on their journey home.

Pupils will be signed out of school by staff when they leave.

09.30 – 10.10 Lesson 1

10.10 – 10.50 Lesson 2

10.50 – 11.05 Break

11.05 – 11.20 DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) Time

11.20 – 12.00 Lesson 3

12.00 – 12.30 Lunch time

12.30 – 13.30 Lesson 4

13.30– 14.30 Lesson 5

14.30 Home time

Attendance

Excellent attendance is expected and rewarded at Ethos College. If your child is unable to attend school due to illness please notify group staff or the school office on 01924 469170 as soon as possible.

An attendance award and prizes are given to students at the end of each term for excellent attendance.

The school does not authorise term time holidays.
