Support for Parents
The websites below provide high quality information for parents and carers about support their children with any Safeguarding concerns. Should you have any more questions please feel free to contact the school. At Ethos we recognise that all families face additional challenges at times and may need additional support. We can signpost families to agencies that can offer this and provide reassurance and practical guidance. Working with our young people contextually is essential to ensure that they can thrive and ensure best outcomes academically, socially and emotionally.
Working with families is essential to ensure that young people benefit fully from the education and support offered at Ethos and that we are celebrating success and managing any barriers together. Families know their children best and by sharing information and working together we can ensure that we achieve the best outcomes possible and that the pupil can achieve their goals post 16.
There are numerous opportunities for families to share their views and for us to work collaboratively. Families are regularly asked for their opinions about all areas of school life and there are regular events where they are invited to including celebration assemblies/seasonal events and curriculum information sessions. We welcome the wider family into school and will support if there are any transport/childcare or access issues that may be a barrier to attendance.
