Our curriculum has been designed in such a way that there is flexibility and room for personalisation so that we can respond to the needs of individual students. Consideration is given to the social, emotional and mental health needs of pupils, and teachers plan to meet MSP, Boxall and EHCP targets through engaging and creative lessons.
Our curriculum has been designed to ensure pupils acquire social confidence – the ability to make points or arguments clearly and constructively, listen attentively to the views of others and behave with courtesy whilst displaying good manners and respect. We give pupils the opportunities to explore and express their character to learn positive moral attributes like courage, honesty, generosity, integrity and humility, which helps to build the skills they need for resilience, empathy and employability.
