PSHE (personal, social, and health education) is an integral part of the school’s curriculum. The content of the subject allows pupils to explore different topics and issues that they might encounter in life. As well as developing skills and knowledge to stay healthy and safe throughout life. The school works hard to guarantee that pupils are taught high-quality lessons that are well resourced, engaging and interesting. We strive to create a safe learning environment whereby pupils are given the freedoms to explore different topics in safe way. RSE is taught as part of the PSHE curriculum at Ethos College. Our teaching will build on the knowledge already acquired and develop further pupils’ understanding of health, as well as introducing knowledge about intimate relationships and sex. All content taught is age-appropriate and builds on prior knowledge and learning.
